How rare is Fox?
At the listed 1 in 21M chance, this is how many hatches give you a 50, 90 or 95 percent chance of at least one Fox:
| Chance of at least one | Hatches |
|---|---|
| 50% | 14.6M |
| 90% | 48.4M |
| 95% | 62.9M |
Eggs in Ride A Pet carry their own Luck value, and weather and boosts change it too. No source we read explains exactly how Luck combines with the listed odds, so treat these numbers as the baseline.
Which egg hatches Fox?
No egg is called the Fox Egg. Fox hatches from ordinary map eggs once your total Hatch Luck reaches its 1 in 21M figure, according to the luck model two guides describe. These eggs need the least ranch luck for it:
Aurora Egg (300M luck): reachable with no ranch upgrades
Tidal Egg (8M luck): ranch luck ×3
Soul Egg (7M luck): ranch luck ×3
Sinister Egg (3M luck): ranch luck ×7
Flaming Egg (1M luck): ranch luck ×21
It is also in the Robux Dragon Egg at a fixed 30% per roll.
Reaching the threshold makes the pet possible, not likely: no source says how often it hatches after that. Work out your own egg in the hatch luck calculator.
Should you fuse Fox?
The Fuse Machine takes any four pets of Legendary rarity or higher, so Fox qualifies. Fusing it removes $1.2K/s of base ranch income, more if it has a mutation or trait. Keep one for Rebirth 2 before you fuse any spares. Whether a fusion is worth it depends on the chance the preview shows for the pet you want; the calculator works that out.
Compared with the pets around it
- Ostrich is the next easier hatch (1 in 1.5M), earning $750/s against Fox’s $1.2K/s.
- Boar is the next harder hatch (1 in 50M).
