Eggs

Every Ride A Pet egg, luck to location

28 eggs spawn on the map and 2 are sold for Robux. An egg’s luck decides how rare a pet it can hatch: the White Egg has 1, the Volcanic Egg 2.5 trillion.

How eggs work

  1. Find an egg on the map. Radars from the Gears shop point you to eggs of their rarity; Ethereal eggs are also announced on screen.
  2. Pick it up and carry it back to your ranch before its timer runs out. Other players can grab the same egg first.
  3. Place it in a free nest, wait for it to grow, then press E to hatch it.

Map eggs reset every 8 minutes, according to the Fandom wiki. Beebom says some special eggs only appear through announcements and are not part of the normal spawns.

Why luck matters

Guides from GameBoost and BloxB describe Hatch Luck as your ranch’s Hatch Luck multiplied by the egg’s base luck, with a pet only possible once that total reaches its “1 in N” figure. The game does not document this, and no source says how likely a pet is once you pass its threshold, so treat these numbers as a planning guide, not odds. Try it with the hatch luck calculator.

Egg FAQ

What is the rarest egg in Ride A Pet?

By hatch luck it is the Volcanic Egg at 2.5T, which only spawns in the Dragon’s Lair inside the volcano. Beebom calls the Cherub Egg (1T luck) the rarest standard egg.

Is there a Fox Egg or a Horse Egg?

No egg in the game’s egg list is named after the Fox or the Horse. Both hatch from ordinary map eggs once your Hatch Luck is high enough; Sportskeeda says the Horse usually comes from the Glass Egg. The Fox is also in the Robux Dragon Egg at a 30% roll.

What is the Dragon Egg?

A Robux-only Instant Hatch egg in the Shop. Each roll gives Crocodile 50%, Fox 30%, TRex 15%, Phoenix 4% or Dragon 1%. Luck upgrades do not change those odds.

How often do eggs respawn?

The Fandom wiki says map eggs reset every 8 minutes. Ethereal eggs are announced on screen when they appear.

Which radar do I need?

Each egg rarity has its own radar, from the $50 Advanced Radar for Rare eggs to the $30M Eternal Radar for Ethereal eggs. The Eternal Radar does not track the Volcanic Egg.
